【Background】 Among the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, “writing” is the most demanding and most difficult. For middle school students, asking them to write an essay in English within the stipulated time that meets both the inscription and the content, the structure and the expression of words to a certain standard is undoubtedly a big challenge. Therefore, it has become one of the hot topics in the field of foreign language teaching and research how to cultivate students ’writing ability and improve students’ writing ability and level. By chance, I learned and seriously studied the theory of lexical teaching method, and realized that lexical teaching method is good for learners to improve the fluentness and standard of language expression
