罗哲文,中国古建筑学家,1940年考入中国营造学社,师从著名古建筑学家梁思成、刘敦桢等,从此便走上了中国古建筑研究与保护的漫长道路。他曾在文化部文物局长期从事全国古建筑的保护管理和调查研究工作,曾任中国文物研究所所长等职,目前依然担任着国家文物局古建筑专家组组长、中国文物学会会长、中国长城学会副会长、国际古迹遗址理事会(icomos)中国委员会副主席。他或自己主持设计、或参加主持方案评审的全国重大的古建筑保护维修项目达数百处以上。
Luo Zhewen, an ancient Chinese architect, was admitted to China in 1940 to create a school, learning from the famous ancient architects Liang Si-cheng, Liu Dunzhen, etc., and then embarked on a long road to ancient Chinese architecture and protection. He has long been engaged in the protection and investigation and research work of the ancient buildings in the National Cultural Relics Bureau. He used to be the director of the Institute of Chinese Cultural Relics. Currently, he is still the leader of the Expert Team of Ancient Buildings of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and the president of the Chinese Cultural Relics Society , Vice chairman of China Great Wall Society and vice chairman of the Chinese Committee of the International Monuments Site (icomos). He or himself presided over the design, or to participate in the program review of the country’s major ancient architectural protection and repair projects for hundreds or more.
