人文思想是以人为中心的各种文化现象的精髓,也是一种关注人生真谛和人类命运的理性态度。它在社会进步和人的发展过程中,起着定向、凝聚、激励和推动的重要作用。而设计可被认作是一种在行为层面的以人为中心的人类造物活动,由此精神层面的思想必定会对物质层面的行为具有影响力。人文思想对于设计来说既是一种价值判断的标准,也是一种指导思想,对于人文思想的研究能给设计师在其设计实践中的很多价值取舍方面的困扰提供帮助。用人文思想来衡量设计的价值,具有着跨越时间和空间的普遍意义。
Humanistic thinking is the essence of various cultural phenomena centered on people and a rational attitude that concerns the true meaning of life and the destiny of mankind. It plays an important role in directing, uniting, stimulating and promoting social progress and human development. Design, however, can be considered as a human-centered human creativism at the behavioral level, whereby the mental-level thinking must have an influence on material-level behavior. Humanistic thinking is not only a standard of value judgments, but also a guiding ideology for design. The study of humanistic thinking can help designers to confuse many values in their design practice. Using humanistic ideas to measure the value of design has the universal meaning across time and space.
