手足口病是一种常见的急性传染性疾病,由于其病情发展较快,较易转化为重症手足口病,并引发较高的致死率,因此,引起了全球越来越广泛的研究。重症手足口病的诊疗进展在病原学上的研究以EV71病毒研究为主,从流行病学研究上,则更重视其传播途径的研究。对于重症手足口病的治疗,仍然没有针对性的疫苗与药物,一般采取对症治疗,通过药物治疗、机械辅助通气治疗、中医治疗等手段对相应的病症进行缓解与治疗。
