我国高职院校开展英语教学,是为了让学生能够适应社会的发展,让学生对掌握一门语言。但是由于英语不是母语,所以导致很多学生对英语的学习和掌握不到位,不能熟练的应用。而英语学习的基础就是掌握英语词汇,而英语词汇的教学方法,也关系到学生学习的成果。因此经过不断的摸索发现,利用英语语境,可以促进学生有效的掌握英语词汇,能够牢固的掌握英语词汇的同时,对于英语阅读中的不认识的词汇可以根据语境进行合理的猜测。
English teaching in higher vocational colleges in China is to enable students to adapt to the development of society and make students master a language. However, because English is not a native language, many students are not familiar with English learning and mastery, and can not be skillfully applied. The basis of English learning is to master English vocabulary, and English vocabulary teaching methods, but also related to the results of student learning. Therefore, after continuous exploration, it is found that using the English context can promote students’ effective mastery of English vocabulary and firmly grasp the English vocabulary. Meanwhile, the unfamiliar vocabulary in English reading can be reasonably guessed according to the context.
