自唐宋以来,工笔画就成为一种独立的画种而存在,工笔画的发展与中国“天人合一”的思考方式是密不可分的,中国工笔画主要追求的是意境与写实,而意境的修养就要靠丰富的生活体验来获得。工笔画发展至今,已经出现了一种新的画风即为当代新工笔,构成在新工笔画中的运用使得工笔画有了一种现代意识,在图式的语言上更具有规律,也使得画面更具形式变化。构成在工笔画中的运用,是能够引人深思的弦外之音,使人能够泛起情感上的涟漪,让人从中得到美感享受或精神上的满足。当下,创新应尊重而不拘泥于传统,或者说我们应该顺应历史潮流的发展,让传统顺其自然,如果自觉的完全继承,那只能出现模仿和搬弄。
