在世界华文文学的蓬勃发展中,如何进一部加强分布于五大洲的华文文学的综合研究,以进一步深化人们对华文文学的整体与局部的认识,比较各地区华文文学的特点、优长和不足,从而更好地相互借鉴,扬长避短,并在新的历史条件下,使华文文学在世界文学的总格局中获得更大的繁荣,作出更大的贡献,这已成为跨世纪之交海内外华文作家和学者必须共同加以考虑的课题,也是本次会议希望加以着重讨论的主题。加强对世界华文文学的综合研
