明“天上要有光体,可以分昼夜,作记号,定节令、日子、年岁,并要发光在天空,普照在地上。”事就这样成了。于是,神造了两个大光,大的管昼,小的管夜,又造众星,把这些摆列在天空,普照在地上,管理昼夜,分别明暗。这是《创世纪》记录的第四天的创造情况。汉字“明”的构成,虽然排除了众星,负责为昼夜照亮的两个大光,太阳和月亮这两个光体所担负的职能,分明被华夏民族在造字的时候记录了下来。
