20世纪50年代中期,为了抵制帝国主义的武力威胁和核讹诈,以毛泽东为核心的第一代党中央领导集体,高瞻远瞩,果断作出了独立自主研制“两弹一星”的战略决策。大批优秀的科技工作者,包括许多在国外已经有杰出成就的科学家,以身许国,怀着对新中国的满腔热爱,义无反顾地投身这一神圣而伟大的事业。这中间,产生和流传着许多科学家隐姓埋名献身“两弹一星”科研工作、身体力行严守国家秘密甚至不惜献出宝贵生命的故事。
In the mid-1950s, in order to resist imperialism’s threat of force and nuclear blackmail, the first generation of the party’s leadership collective with Mao Zedong at the core took a long-term view and determined to independently make its own strategic decision of “two bombs and one satellite.” A large number of outstanding scientists and technologists, including many scientists who have achieved outstanding achievements abroad, have volunteered themselves and made irresponsible efforts to devote themselves to this sacred and great cause with a passionate love for the People’s Republic of China. In the middle of this period, many scientists have produced and circulated stories of anonymity and “two bombs and one satellite” scientific research, and they even tried their best to keep state secrets and even sacrificed their lives.
