外圆深切缓进给磨削工艺又称“蠕动磨削”或“深磨”。这种磨削工艺的工件转速极慢,工件每转砂轮的切深极大,工件转动一周以后,即能将余量全部切去。所以深切缓进给磨削是一种新型高效磨削工艺,它的出现改变了磨削工艺只能从零件表面切除很薄一层金属以获得很高精度的传统概念,而可能从铸、锻毛坯上直接磨出合格零件。郑州磨料所和上海磨床所等八个单位共同对这项新工艺,进行了两年多的试验研究,取得了良好的效果,现介绍如下。
