西方电气产品工程控制中心(PECC)正在建造一套试生产设备,其中装有一台工程研究中心设计的细线挤压样机。PECC的试生产计划将包括:(1)判断样机作为今后正式生产设备的可能性;(2)发展生产用的挤压机;(3)挤压铝线(9至24吨/时~2级),铜线(12吨/时~2级),铜和磷青铜细线(37吨/时~2级)。图1表示鉴定样机性能用的试生产设备。其试验计划包括:
Western Electric’s Product Engineering Control Center (PECC) is building a pilot production facility that houses a thin-line extrusion prototype designed by the Engineering Research Center. PECC’s pilot production plan will include: (1) judging the possibility of a prototype as an official production facility in the future; (2) developing extrusion presses for production; (3) extruding aluminum lines (9 to 24 tons / hour to 2 levels ), Copper wire (12 tons / hour ~ 2 grades), copper and phosphor bronze fine lines (37 tons / hour ~ 2 grades).
