《中国文化报》2005年11月29日改革开放以来,我国的美术事业呈现出空前繁荣活跃的局面。但是冷静地检视中国当代美术的真实成果,仔细考察它对中国当代社会的实际作用,我们就会发现,当代美术已经越来越成为美术自身自说自话、自给自足的杯水世界,对于急剧变革的中国社会,美术家已经成为无足轻重甚至可有可无的局外看客。
China Culture Daily, November 29, 2005 Since the reform and opening up, China’s fine arts industry has enjoyed an unprecedented prosperity and active situation. However, if we look at the real achievements of contemporary Chinese fine arts and examine their actual effects on contemporary Chinese society, we will find that contemporary art has increasingly become the self-sufficient and self-sufficient world of art, In the changing Chinese society, artists have become insignificant and even dispensable outsiders.
