贺州市八步区拥有90多万人口,每年农村劳动力递增数在2万人以上。为了加快农村富余劳动力的转移步伐,减轻农村的就业压力,促进农民增收,八步区委政府加大农村劳动力培训的力度。如今,该区已有10.9万名农村富余劳动力,经过政府培训后,或实现就地安置,或异地安置进工厂,或外出闯市场,在致富路上大显身手。针对广东等沿海发达地区对劳动力素质要求提高的实际情况,该区不断完善区、镇、村三级职业技术培训网络体系,主要以区农机校、职业技术中学、农民科技培训中
