近年来,英语教学普遍从小学三年级开始,学生经过三年的小学英语学习,都有了一定的英语基础,对英语学习也有了一定的认识,但同时也出现了一些问题,比如部分小学生英语较差,对英语学习没有兴趣。进入初中,随着英语课堂教学内容的增多,难度的增加,学生更加难以适应,因此学生对学习英语就逐渐丧失了信心,甚至有了破罐子破摔的放弃想法。因此,建立和培养初一学生学习英语的自信心,是广大初一英语教师义不容辞、刻不容缓的责任。
