在中国台湾馆展出“游园”玻璃花园,是呼应后都市复兴主义影响,为人们所设计静宁喘息的冥想空间。花园的外观融合中国台湾与芬兰文化中的圆形环状场域,在“空”与“当下”的片刻之中的逻辑思维。从不同层面来看,组成花园的元素是假山庭园与一座秋千。花园本身亦是一座资源回收场,里头所有的设置全是机缘捡拾废料重新排列组合而成的。城市要能生灭相依才会源源不绝。花园地表铺上回收碎玻璃,秋千与走道都用二手木料加以建造。其中的玻璃石块更是玻璃厂近12年才会生产这种令人难以置信的,全然美丽、透亮如珍珠般的副产品。原来,玻璃工厂的玻璃熔解炉自开厂热机以后,便没日没夜、从不间断地在高温下窑烧石英生产玻璃。除非更换坩埚或是修理,否则需维持长时间的高温。坩埚大概每12年整炉冷却后更换一次,此时在坩埚里经年累月堆积的玻璃热流,会随孔洞中流出来,随机形成各种玻璃膏块,待玻璃膏冷却之后,便成花园中摆置玻璃石块的模样。石块形状是完全无法预期的美丽意外。
