本方法是用500毫升的水样测定约10~(-8)%的铀。铀是用磷酸铝作为载体被沉淀成磷酸铀酰而浓缩。将磷酸铝溶解于硝酸中,用硝酸铝为盐剂,则铀可用醋酸乙脂萃取。将部份醋酸乙脂放在标准白金盘中蒸发,用混合的氟化物熔剂制备—萤光圆片,用萤光计测量萤光。沉淀一次磷酸铝可收集95%以上的铀。不同的大洋水铀含量测出范围是2.3×10~(-7)至3.4×10~(-7)%。
This method is used to measure about 10 ~ (-8)% of uranium with 500 ml of water sample. Uranium is concentrated by precipitating uranyl phosphate using aluminum phosphate as a support. The aluminum phosphate dissolved in nitric acid, with aluminum nitrate as salt, uranium can be extracted with ethyl acetate. A portion of the ethyl acetate was evaporated on a standard platinum plate, a fluorocarbon flux was used to prepare a fluorescent disc and the fluorescence was measured with a fluorometer. Precipitation of aluminum phosphate can collect more than 95% of uranium. Uranium contents in different oceanic waters ranged from 2.3 × 10 -7 to 3.4 × 10 -7%.
