5月25日,全国人才工作会议召开,会议提出到2020年,我国要培养造就规模宏大、结构优化、布局合理、素质优良的人才队伍,进入世界人才强国行列。数据显示,2003年全国人才工作会议以来,我国人才总量不断扩大,到2008年底,我国人才资源总量已近1.14亿人,是世界人力资源大国。本文根据《中国劳动年鉴》和科技部公布的相关数据对各地专业技术人才队伍的现状进行对比分析,从中可以发现地区科技进步和经济发展的动力所在。
