鄂尔多斯市图书馆于2009年6月搬迁至康巴什新区,随之图书馆少儿部成立。2009年8月少儿部正式对外免费开放。少儿部设在图书馆的二楼南侧,面积约为2400平方米。其设计充分考虑了少儿的阅读习惯与特点,吸纳了国内外少儿图书馆的经验,分设未成年人文献展示区、阅览区、电子阅览区、低幼游乐活动区与办公区5个区域。文献展示区向少儿读者提供
Erdos City Library moved to Kangbashi New District in June 2009, followed by the establishment of Children’s Department of Library. In August 2009, the Children’s Department was officially opened to the public for free. Children’s Department located in the library on the second floor south, an area of about 2400 square meters. The design fully considers the children’s reading habits and characteristics, and absorbs the experiences of children’s libraries at home and abroad. There are 5 regions including the document display area, reading area, electronic reading area, low-level recreational activity area and office area. Document display area to children’s readers
