中国人民和亚洲人民盼望已久的北京第11届亚运会取得了圆满的成功。通过这次成功地举办亚运会,弘扬了爱国主义精神,增强了民族凝聚力,发扬了顽强拚搏、团结协作、无私奉献等中华民族的优良传统,增强了我国的国际威望,扩大了国际影响。这些都说明,11亿中国人民,在共产党的领导下,只要目标明确,把力量组织起来,什么大事都可以办成,什么困难都可以克服,什么人间奇迹都可以创造出来。
The 11th Asian Games in Beijing, the long-awaited hope of the Chinese people and Asian people, has achieved complete success. Through this successful hosting of the Asian Games, it has carried forward the spirit of patriotism, strengthened national cohesion, carried forward the fine tradition of the Chinese nation such as being tenaciously working hard, uniting and cooperating, and giving selfless dedication to enhance the international prestige of our country and expand its international influence.
