原发性视神经纤维瘤极罕见,国内仅报告一例。1978年我科遇见1例,报告如下: 覃××,男,15岁,住院号125776。1978年1月某日入院。自述于1977年元月用手遮盖右眼发现左眼视力不好。至11月别人发现其左眼球轻度突出,否认有复视、外伤史。检查视力右1.5,左0.06,不能矫正。眼球突出度左13mm,右15mm,眶距80mm。左眼向正前方突出,各方向运动正常。眼球前部正常。左眼底视乳头水肿,隆起+3D,
