The adsorption behavior of ~(241)Am and ~(152,154)Eu on silicon dioxide in nitric acid solution was studied by using the batch experiment. The ~(241)Am and ~(152,154)Eu adsorption batch experiments were carried out in sealed polypropylene test tubes.6 ml de-ionized water,1 ml KNO_3(1M),1.0 g silicon dioxide,1 ml Am(NO_3)_3 and Eu(NO_3)_3 so- lution.The pH of the solution was adjusted by adding KOH and HNO_3 stock solutions.For all adsorption reactions,the ion strength of the solution was kept at 0.012 5 M KNO_3 and the solid-liquid ratio at 125
