伯恩哈德剧作《伊曼努埃尔·康德》剧中的主人公形象体现出鲜明的否定性,这主要由于作者对和主人公一样只会鹦鹉学舌的哲学家以及当代西方世界普遍异化的生存状态的批判和否定,对传统的理性信仰的怀疑,以及对传统戏剧结构和人物对话方式的消解。上述现象的产生与现代资本主义社会的精神危机以及作者的世界观密切相关。通过其富于否定性的人物形象,作者意欲对社会现实进行深刻批判,并竭力避免将戏剧创作沦为商品和大众娱乐的工具。
The image of the protagonist in Bernhardt’s play “Imanuel Kant” plays a distinct negative role mainly due to the fact that the author’s philosophers who are only as parrot as the protagonist and the alienated state of existence in the contemporary Western world The criticism and denial of traditional rational beliefs, as well as the disintegration of the traditional theater structure and character dialogue. The above phenomenon is closely related to the spiritual crisis of the modern capitalist society and the author’s world outlook. Through his highly negative personalities, the author intends to profoundly criticize the social reality and endeavors to avoid the reduction of drama creation into a tool for the production of goods and popular entertainment.
