贵州省职业技术教育始于清光绪三十一年(1905年),历经清朝、中华民国和中华人民共和国三个时期.至今已一百多载.随着历史的演变,其发展历程艰难,只有在中华人民兵和国建立以后,国泰民安,才得以发展.特别是改革开放以来发展速度迅猛,现已发展到普通中等专业学校111所,在校生人数101209人;职业中学258所,在校生人数64297人.培养了一大批初、中级专业技术人才,为贵州省经济发展和社会进步作出了贡献.
Vocational and Technical Education in Guizhou Province began in the thirty-one years (1905) of the Qing Emperor Guangxu, after three periods of the Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China and the People’s Republic of China, and it has been more than a hundred years old.
