翻译不仅是语言的转换,更是文化信息的传递。语言的转换只是翻译的表层,而文化信息的传递才是翻译的实质。归化与异化这两种翻译策略是翻译界长久以来争论的热点之一。是保持原文的异国情调,还是追求译笔的归化地道,这一直是译界争论不休的问题。归化和异化这两种翻译策略深受社会文化的制约,本文分析了文化地位和翻译策略的选择之间的关系。
Translation is not only the language conversion, but also the transmission of cultural information. The conversion of language is only the surface of translation, but the transmission of cultural information is the essence of translation. Domestication and Foreignization These two translation strategies are one of the hot topics that the translation community has long debated. Is to maintain the original exotic, or the pursuit of translation of the naturalization of land, which has been a constant debate in the international community. The two translation strategies of domestication and foreignization are deeply constrained by the social culture. This paper analyzes the relationship between cultural status and the choice of translation strategies.
