In the spring of 1953, Mr.Hu Jingzhi began his music aesthetics research, and later expanded to the areas of art theory, photography aesthetics and film aesthetics. In the 1980s, he advocated a new discipline in aesthetics of literature and art. So far, academic career has more than 50 years. On the occasion of the founding of Shenzhen University 20 years ago, the School of Letters held a symposium on “Professor Hu Jingzhi’s academic career for 50 years”. President Xie Weixin delivered a speech and Vice Presidents Zhang Bi Gong and Xing Miao attended the symposium. Many well-known Chinese scholars and students came to Shenzhen to participate in the symposium.
