由中国国家博物馆、中国美术家协会、中共河南省委宣传部、广州美术学院等单位共同主办的“盛世繁英——周彦生花鸟画艺术展”于2014年9月11日上午9点半在中国国家博物馆隆重展出。这是周彦生先生继20年前在中国美术馆举办“周彦生工笔花鸟画展·北京展”之后,其个人历史上的又一次大展。画展集中展出周彦生先生近20年来创作的作品300余幅,其中仅八尺整纸的大幅工笔花鸟画作就有近百幅,丈六匹的花鸟写意画作有10多幅,扇面花鸟画作150余幅。出席本次开幕式的领导和嘉宾有中共中央原政治局委员、
