ParaGlass / 22 3D glass fabrics are thought to make low-weight, thick-sandwich laminates and sheets quickly and one-time. Parabeam claims that this product makes hand layup processes more efficient (increasing and faster production) and reducing raw material consumption, improving the competitive position of plastics for other materials. Parabeam ■ 3D glass fabric is a 100% woven E-glass material consisting of 2 deck plies bonded with vertical ■ piles. When impregnated with a thermosetting resin, the fabric was compressed but immediately swelled back to its original height. The resulting laminate is said to be strong, strong, light and durable. The latest in the ParaGlass range is between 3mm and 22mm thick. ParaGlass fabrics can be made into rigid, light-weight boards in or as a sandwich material.
