20世纪末，数字媒体各方面的发展挑战着传统的平面设计。平面设计已经蓄势待发。从平面设计的出现到如今，人们从中接受信息，并没有因为时代的更迭而减弱，当今世界的传播手段正在以多元化，色彩化，数字化的方式不断的涌现，可以看到平面与立体的发展注定与之相联系，而这些联系则是内在的，互动的。
