我们阅读文学作品,总能感受到其中民族精神的力量,因为文艺作品本是民族精神的载体。文学要表现人性,就离不开各自的民族性,必然会浸透着民族精神。我们爱读鲁迅的小说,因为那里表现了现代中国人的民族魂以及作家对提升中国人的民族精神的热望;我们在歌德创造的人物身上,品味到他们内心世界的矛盾、丰富性和善于思想探索的精神。这些都打上了不同民族精神的印记。作为一种历史现象,如果民族精神下滑,甚至走向虚无,那么一个民族的命运是十分危险的。
When we read literary works, we can always feel the strength of the national spirit among them because literary and artistic works are the carriers of the national spirit.
