A novel derivative of vitamin K4, 1, 2, 4- trinaphthol- acetic ester, is synthesized by directly reacting of2- hydroxy- 1, 4- naphthoquinone with acetic anhydride, where zinc powder is used as reductant. By examiningthe influences of reacting time, temperature and reactant ratio, the esterification conditions are optimized. The ex-perimental result shows that, the esterification yield can reach 40% with a single cycle of the simple synthetic route.
