T helper cells (Th) can be divided into three subgroups of Th1, Th2 and Th17 according to their functions. Th1 cells mainly secrete γ-interferon (IFN-γ), interleukin-2 (IL- Immune; Th2 cells secrete interleukin-4, -5, -6, -10, -13 (IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-10, IL-13), etc., to promote humoral immunity. Under normal circumstances Th1 / Th2 in equilibrium, the balance of changes in the inflammatory response in vivo and anti-inflammatory immune balance changes in the foundation, and the occurrence and prognosis of the disease are closely linked. Th17 participates in innate immunity and certain inflammatory responses through the secretion of interleukin-17. Th cells play a huge role in the formation, development and prognosis of many diseases caused by inflammation. Studies have shown that smoking can promote the formation of inflammation and multiple system diseases, especially lung disease, which is related to the differentiation of T cells and the status of Th cells secreting cytokines. In this paper, the research results on the correlation between Th cells and smoking-induced lung diseases For review.
