我公司第五工程队双革班全体同志,以大庆为榜样,大胆实践,敢于创新,经过反复试验,试制成功了这种特轻型手提式电焊机。该焊机结构简单,制作容易,重量仅14公斤。它的突出特点是用循环水冷却(全机浸在水里),代替空气对流自然冷却,因此工作持续时间长;电源为普通单相电源,因此凡有照明电源的地方都能使用,适应地区广泛;除一般单机使用外,还可多机并联,进行厚大金属结构的焊接。经过半年多的实际使用,效果良好,非常适应战备、农村修配、山区建设、维修工程等的需要。
