在去年黄笃策划的今日美术馆“当代文献展”中,尽管占据三维空间的雕塑-装置类作品是展场中的主导力量,作者中出身雕塑的艺术家却寥寥无几;另一个例子是冯博一策划的第六届深圳当代雕塑展。名为雕塑展,25位艺术家中却只有1/4左右是“雕塑家”出身。这两个例子从一个侧面反映了雕塑界的现状。
In the Today Art Museum / Contemporary Documentary Exhibition organized by Huang Du last year, although sculptures and installations occupying three-dimensional space are the dominant force in the exhibition, there are only a few artists who are of sculptural origin. Another example is Feng Bo a planned Sixth Shenzhen Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition. Known as the sculpture exhibition, only 25 of the 25 artists are “sculptors” born. These two examples reflect the current situation of the sculpture community from one aspect.
