Have you ever seen Slumdog Millionaire? Many of the scenes in the movie were shot in the slums of Mumbai. The little performers in the film came from the Bandera slum in northern Mumbai. After the filming, the 10-year-old Ismail and 9-year-old Ali took off their dresses and returned to slums, hoping to change their destiny through reading.
