3.对待历史遗产的态度,从根本上说是一个教育问题,是社会(自我)修养问题。在劳勒看来,列宁对待历史遗产态度的精髓,不在于记住和维护过去全部有价值的原理,而在于一步一步地,象费希特那样,走过人类智力的全部历史阶梯。换言之,事情的实质与其说在于个别有价值的原理,在于过去的文化方式(其中有许多已经一去不复返了),不如说在于在过去事业的基础上形成的现代思维方式。如果把文化看作它的个别成果——哪怕是最优秀的成果——的总和,那末它的一些成分必然与它的另一些成分相对立。这种关系的逻辑基础总是片面思维。
3. The attitude towards historical heritage is fundamentally an educational issue and a social (self) self-cultivation issue. According to Lawler, the essence of Lenin’s attitude toward historical heritage lies not in remembering and defending all the valuable principles of the past, but in walking step by step through all the historical steps of human intelligence, as Fichte did. In other words, the substance of the matter is not so much a matter of its own merits as the old way of thinking, many of which are gone, but rather the modern way of thinking that has formed on the basis of past causes. If culture is viewed as the sum of its individual achievements, even the best, then some of its components must be opposed to others. The logical basis for this relationship is always one-sided thinking.
