随着无线通信技术的发展,如何通过现有的各种无线网络为用户提供多样化的服务。即:异构网络融合问题.引起人们的广泛关注。在多种异构无线网络共存的环境中。支持移动用户的无缝移动性是网络向用户提供高质量服务的必要条件。传统移动性管理方案已经无法满足异构无线网络中用户移动性管理的需求。本文采用网络跨层设计的思想。综合研究无线网络的应用层、网络层和无线链路层,提出一种新型的跨层移动性管理方案.并且以WLAN、GSM/GPRS和UMTS之间的交互为例做了详细地描述。
With the development of wireless communication technology, how to provide diversified services to users through various existing wireless networks. Namely: Heterogeneous network integration problem. Aroused widespread concern. In a variety of heterogeneous wireless networks coexist environment. Supporting seamless mobility for mobile users is a necessary condition for the network to provide users with high-quality services. Traditional mobility management solutions have been unable to meet the needs of user mobility management in heterogeneous wireless networks. This article uses the idea of network cross-layer design. In this paper, a new cross-layer mobility management scheme is proposed based on a comprehensive study of the application layer, the network layer and the radio link layer of the wireless network, and the interaction between WLAN, GSM / GPRS and UMTS as an example is described in detail.
