In recent years, the media industry has developed rapidly. In 2004, its output value was only over 200 billion yuan, reaching 890 billion yuan in 2013, more than doubling over. Its 15% to 16% growth rate is three times that of the world media industry and much higher than the average growth rate of China’s GDP during the same period.
