水稻花药培养历来采用脱分化、分化或再加壮苗等二至三级连续培养的方法(下称多级法), 操作程序复杂,化工大、成本高、出苗慢,王效较低(上海农科院1975,中科院植物所等1977)。新关宏夫(1969)、朱至清(1976)、徐罕仑(1978)等曾观察水稻花药培养直接出苗与花粉胚出苗现象,但诱导效果不良,未能应用。1978年8月至1982年,我们建立了一套程序简化、效果良好的新方法,实现了用一种培养基培养花药,不经转移就直接出苗,并长成可移栽的大苗(图8A),简称“一次成苗法”。

From August 1978 to 1982, we created a new, streamlined and well-performing approach to cultivate anthers in a medium that emerged directly and grew into transplanting seedlings without transfer (Figure 8A ), Referred to as “a seedling method.”
