朱彊村晚年将校词双砚传于龙榆生,并托其整理全部遗稿,这对龙榆生其后的生活命运与学术事业产生了重要的影响。研究者多关注授砚行为与朱氏传人的关系,却忽略了与之关联的其他事件。针对于此,文章整理并分析了围绕彊村授砚事而展开的题作及作品数量、作者、类别、创作主旨以及创作时间,对朱彊村授砚的时间、托稿的过程、龙榆生是否为其传人等相关本事做了辨证和分析,考察龙榆生在《词学季刊》社、《词学季刊》创办过程中所付出的努力和由此带来的影响等上世纪三、四十年代与彊村授砚本事相关联的一些事件,以此厘清这段略有蒙尘的历史的源流始末。
