商务部新闻发言人姚坚近日表示,我国将进一步降低进口关税,包括部分中高档商品的关税,这是大势所趋,各个部门对此有共识。他说,随着中国人均GDP超过4000美元,居民收入持续增加,降低关税是大势所趋。商务部部长陈德铭此前表示,部分境外市场没有关税、内地高档消费品分销体制等原因导致“奢侈品国外便宜国内贵”。
Ministry of Commerce spokesman Yao Jian said recently that China will further reduce the import tariffs, including tariffs on some high-end commodities, which is the trend of the times and all departments have consensus. He said as China’s per capita GDP surpassed 4,000 U.S. dollars and its income continued to increase, it is the general trend to reduce tariffs. Minister of Commerce Chen Deming said earlier that some overseas markets have no tariffs and that the mainland luxury consumer goods distribution system and other causes have led to “expensive foreign luxury goods in China.”
