What is meant by “inferring things from one thing to another?” “Implicitly believe that one is the other” is an idiom that stems from “The Analects of Confucius,” and states that: “If you say ”You don’t use three things, you don’t have to do it“. That means teaching people to know things in the four places, and For example, let the human beings learn to push another angle. If it cannot be analogized, it will no longer be taught. Later, using the metaphor of “infer one thing from the other”, one can infer many other things. From this it can be seen that ”inferring one thing from the other“ is good at analogy, and thus ”being good at analogy“ is the means, and ”from here to the other“ is the goal. Note that here ”the other“ can be the same type of thing as ”this." It should be a lot of other things that are related to “this”. This is the general meaning of “inferring from one thing to another”.
