Mention the Netherlands, people often think of tulip flowers under the windmill, here can be said that there is the world’s most beautiful spring. But the most striking impact on the soul is not merely the charming pastoral but the freedom of the Netherlands. Russell once said: “The Netherlands was the only country with freedom of thought in the 17th century and its importance was beyond accountability.” People even call the Netherlands the cradle of freedom and the pride of human civilization. Today’s Netherlands, whether economic, political or cultural, education, still runs through a principle - free and fair. The United States may be a free country, but the Dutch people are the most free-living nationals.
