本文通过对平阳戏剧圈的作家、作品及演出繁荣;平阳地区神庙戏台和道教宫观的兴建,经籍的编集;元代平阳地区道教的繁荣和平阳戏剧圈的繁荣在时间上的一致性三个方面的探讨,笔者认为元代道教的发展为平阳戏剧圈的形成和繁荣提供了坚实的人力资源和观众基础,一定程度上促进了平阳戏剧圈繁荣,而平阳地区戏剧的繁荣发展也反过来促进了道教在这一地区的发展壮大。
