开展梨矮化砧木的选育,是实现梨矮密栽培的前提与途径。山西省农科院果树所邵开基研究员及助手于1980年开始以具有矮性趋向的久保、身不知、朝鲜洋梨等品种(系)为亲本进行有性杂交,历经10余年的系统选育,成功地推出了K系梨矮化砧木,并通过省级成果鉴定。这些优系的园艺学性状,居国内外领先水平,可以在生产上推广应用。
