The reform of the leadership system is the precursor of the health reform work and an integral part of the country’s political reform. The county-level health and epidemic prevention stations are the basic units of the health and disease prevention system. The effectiveness of their leadership system is directly related to the quality and effectiveness of health and disease prevention work. To understand the status quo of the county-level health and epidemic prevention station leadership system and provide basis for decision-making of related departments, the author has conducted the survey on 74 county-level health and epidemic prevention stations in Henan Province in recent years.
