From August to October 1995, an acute infectious disease broke out in Tiepu Town and Guantang Town, Chaoan County. The epidemic investigation and serological test confirmed a dengue fever epidemic caused by dengue virus. l General Situation Chaoan County belongs to the eastern part of Guangdong Province. Tiepu Town and Guantang Town are located in the east of Chaoan County. The average temperature in August and October of this year is 25t or above. It belongs to the rainy season.
