摩西会堂与西摩会堂是上海仅存的两座犹太会堂,是曾经在上海生活过的犹太人最难忘的记忆。犹太会堂是犹太人的精神家园,使他们无论身处何处都能够感觉到自己与故乡相连。本文对上海的犹太会堂进行了系统的总结,围绕摩西会堂与西摩会堂的历史演变、建筑设计、室内空间及环境景观四个方面展开论述。提出要珍视城市历史文化遗存,尊重不同的民族信仰,谨记人类历史教训,让城市在多元文化的共存中发展,避免种族迫害与文化悲剧的重演。
Moses Hall and Seymour Hall, the only two synagogues in Shanghai, are the most memorable memories of the Jews who once lived in Shanghai. Jewish synagogues are the spiritual home of Jews, enabling them to feel connected to their hometowns no matter where they are. This article systematically summarizes the synagogue in Shanghai and discusses the historical evolution of Moses Hall and Seymour Hall, architectural design, interior space and environmental landscape. Proposes to cherish the city’s historical and cultural relics, respect different ethnic beliefs, keep in mind the lessons of human history, so that the development of the city in the coexistence of multiculturalism, to avoid ethnic persecution and cultural tragedies repeated.
