继去年300多名老专家接受中国土木工程学会表彰后,今年又有300多名献身土木工程的老专家受到表彰。为了在全国范围内广泛宣传老专家的业绩,激发后来人以老专家为榜样,献身于土木工程建设事业,为实现四化建设的宏伟目标贡献才智,中国土木工程学会于去年7月在北京表彰了300多名从事土木工程工作50周年以上的老专家。表彰活动受到了中央领导及建设、铁道、交通等部门和社会各界的重视和支持。
Following more than 300 old experts who were honored by the China Civil Engineering Society last year, more than 300 old experts dedicated to civil engineering were honored this year. In order to widely publicize the performance of the old experts nationwide and inspire others to follow the example of the old experts and devote themselves to the construction of civil engineering projects, the Chinese Society of Civil Engineering commended Beijing in July of last year for its outstanding contribution to the realization of the magnificent goals of the four modernization projects. More than 300 old experts engaged in civil engineering work for more than 50 years. The commendation activities have received the attention and support from the central leadership and the departments of construction, railways, transportation, and other sectors of society.
