陶瓷器的坯体装饰是指在陶或瓷的坯体上,利用坯体材料的特性,通过一定的工艺方式对坯体本身进行加工形成的有凹凸、虚实及色彩变化的装饰。纵览中国历史上优秀的陶艺作品,我们可以发现从陶瓷产生至宋元时期,坯体装饰一直是中国陶瓷器的重要装饰手法。商代的刻纹白陶、唐代长沙窑的模印贴花青瓷、宋代定窑的刻划花白瓷等,传统陶瓷器上都能够看到中国传统陶瓷器坯体装饰取得的成就。
