在现代主义文学创作中,印象是介于感官与思想之间的一种感觉。现象学是一种透过现象来呈现本质的哲学思想。伍尔夫的印象主义的写作手法具有明显的现象学特质,她的短篇小说《蛾之死》透过飞蛾的生死历程戏剧化地演绎了生命的本质,她的另一个短篇《一部未完成的小说》则表现了印象主义现象学思想中的开放性特质。
Impression is the feeling between the senses and thoughts in modernist literary creation. Phenomenology is a kind of philosophical thought that presents essence through phenomena. Woolf’s impressionistic writing style has obvious phenomenological characteristics. Her short story Moth’s death dramatized the essence of life through the moth’s life and death process. Another of her short stories, Finished novels "show the open nature of phenomenological phenomenology.
